I have a desire to return to the work I was making years ago, three pieces that feel like a trilogy, like they evolved out of each other. My work then is still part of my work now and reviewing it in the context of my current life would help deepen my understanding of my own research questions and find nuance within the themes of my work; past, present, and emerging.

I watched this piece, circle line circle (Run/Time), the other night and realized the similarities to my score for the module one showing. That piece and my next both utilized unison to highlight the difference in the people dancing, and timing (canon, slowness, and stillness) to draw out the space between the dancers and create a sort of other time, in my current context there's a relation to the idea of "crip time," or having my own time and speed in my relationship to my surroundings.
